Linaro's Automated Validation Architecture (LAVA) team will be hosting an afternoon training session where users can learn basic installation, maintenance and management of their own LAVA lab. In this training session, the team will talk through the deployment of a LAVA lab master and worker node from scratch. The Team will cover supported device configuration, integration with power controllers (PDUs) and executing jobs that will run on real hardware.
After the demonstration, users can walk through the deployment process on their own laptops using bare (virtual machine) VM images, following instruction sheets, and with help from the LAVA team.
Attendees wishing to participate in the workshop are asked to bring their own laptops and have already downloaded the VM images. Suggested laptop specs and the download links are listed below. Attendees are also encouraged to bring embedded boards for adding to the workshop lab.
- A list of supported boards can be found at http://collaborate.linaro.org/display/LAVA/LAVA+Home#LAVAHome-Hardware
